Grande puissance de feu
|Factory||Artillery & Anti-air Base|
Another relic from the First World War, the Canon GPF 155mm (Canon de 155 GPF mle.1917) enjoys supreme power against targets, with the expense of poor accuracy, slow rate of fire and speed.
It does however fires explosive 'howitzer' shells and can blast enemy structures with ease. A few of these in conjunction with the Canon 75mm provides excellent artillery support from a safe distance.
Their rate of fire is very slow, slower than any artillery unit, so, it must be grouped with another of these, and lighter artillery to form a "decent" artillery barrage.
- Defend with close light tanks and anti tank guns.
- The commander should always heavily defend these units with anti-air vehicles. Towed anti air is not bad for defending towed artillery as the artillery isn't any faster than the defense. Cheap defenders like towed Anti Tank, Anti Air, and Infantry are perfect for defending the expensive artillery.
- Also, the commander should spread these units out, as it is possible that a bomber may get through defenses and could possibly destroy them all together if they are in one major grouping.
